  • “Startup Nation, Innovation and Challenges”

The main objective of this lecture is to present one of the most fascinating aspects of our contemporary Israel, the Startup Nation.

How did we become the Startup Nation? When did it start? Why do so many trusted companies land here to find R&D centers? What is our expertise and why does our culture of development happen here and not elsewhere?

During the presentation, we provide statistics and conceptual definitions. We also explain details of the YOZMA program and the challenges to face in order to make it possible, the Israeli ecosystem, and some aspects of the cultural idiosyncrasy of Israeli society. We will review some of the relevant places where Startups can be developed such as local incubators and accelerators detailing the benefits they can provide to an entrepreneur in the earlier stages.

In the end, we will show some facts about the success, the ongoing and the “exit” of Israeli Startups, and of course, the impact of all this considering the challenges for the future.

  • Workshop “Avoiding traditional mistakes while doing business with Israelis”

The main objective of this workshop is to avoid traditional mistakes while making business with Israelis. The importance of a good understanding of the local culture is as important as the deal or proposal trying to present.

Why did I send to my possible partner a nice introductory email and he replies with two sentences? Did I make a mistake? Should I contact him again soon? “I can’t complete my idea if I have so many interruptions ” ” It is taking too long this conversation, I guess we are going nowhere “. Questions and phrases we usually receive as advisers.

After collecting working experiences, both from Latin Americans in Israel and Israelis in Latin America, we provide the most important tips and examples for doing good business in Israel, focused on the objective of success.
